One Laptop Per Child is a project that has as goal to provide children around the world with new opportunities to explore, experiment and express themselves.

I have found this initiative very interesting although I don’t agree at all with it. Calm down! I know we are on the technological age, but in my opinion, would be much more useful invest these amount of money in basic health services than giving everyone the same possibilities for accessing to information and providing educational opportunities for all…

    I say down with IE6 Anyway! FireFox 4 Lyfe! :)

    I agree with you that some of this money could go to better uses, but the world is almost at the point these days that you can’t survive in business, education, politics, etc without being connected. A project like this one would give kids a chance to be competitive right away…

    hehe! that’s true, down with IE!
    about the OLPC, I don’t know at all, is not an easy decission, if I were one of these chlidren, but for sure I would prefere medicines instead of a laptop…
