new version of google analytics
I have just visited Google Analytics to check my statistics of last week and to my surprise they have launched a new version of Google Analtycs.

After taking a first look at the new version of Google Analytics, I have realized that they have redesigned the reporting interface, and seems that data is shown on a more clearly way. But in my opinion was easier to have a global view of the matter with the old version, why?, because for me was easier having the calendar on the right hand side more than having to click the date to load it! Apart from that looks more professional.
As we can read on their blog “The new version of Google Analytics is easy enough for a layperson to understand, but also offers the sophistication experienced users need”. Let’s see how it works, I am almost sure will be much better, these guys from google work pretty good:)
The good new is that we have one month to learn to use it (”you will still have access to the old version for at least one month”)

Whe I log in to analytics in the US, I don’t see what you see. I still get the old way. I’ve never found ga very intuitive… statcounter is often clearer in spite of its tiny log size. I wonder if they’ve delayed it to the us, (or maybe just Kentucky) or maybe I’m using an old time browser (IE6).

In ga blogs doesn’t specify the new version is only launched for europe…

I only used the old Analytics for a few weeks, but the new version blows that one out of the water. I think it’s very intuitive and easy to use.
