grand central & buck brothers

One of my colleagues plays drums for a couple of bands and yesterday was his first gig with one of them (Grand Central).

grand central & buck brothers

The concert took place at Hope and Anchor (London), it is a small but quite warm place; I think I prefere these kind of pubs for live music more than big stadiums (though don’t use to be space enough for performances), everything is more touching and real…

Grand Central played a kind of Rock-Pop (sounding like Razorlight or Cold Play), the band, composed by a guitar (the vocal, in my point of view spectacular), bass (second vocal) and the drummer (very good skills) working together wonderfully.
My favourite song from Grand Central? I think “All Over the World” rocks!

After Grand Central, played Buck Brothers, an Anglo-Irish-Swedish band based in London which none of the members are actually brothers :)

Was the first time I listened them and I found their songs very powerful, a kind of Rock-Punk (more punk) really catchy. As a killer song, it is worth pointing out “Girls Skirs Boots Bikes” which you can listen on their myspace

Ah! I got a new badge!! deputamadre!! (everyone understand this, aren’t you?)
