kite runner film review

Yesterday I went to the cinema and watched The Kite Runner, a film based on the bestseller of the same name by Khaled Hosseini.

Of course I am not going to reveal the plot, because in spain (most of my readers) is due for release on february, but I am going to say that is a “must be seen” drama that won’t leave you indifferent.

The story, set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, allows you to see the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan, the Soviet invasion, exodus to Pakistan/United States and the Taliban regime.

My friend Pilun, even though he enjoyed it, after the movie said: “I’ll never ever smile again”. Exaggerated!
