Now, Hollywood has announced the revival of the long in-limbo live-action adaptation of the classic manga film created and directed by Katsuhiro Otomo. Ruairi Robinson (“Fifty Percent Grey”, 2001) has been hired to direct what would ideally be a two-part movie and Leonardo DiCaprio will produce (and intends to star in ?Akira?) the film for Warner Bros.
