Do you enjoy comparing boring stuff like car/home insurance or you prefer to compare meerkats?
Here you have what I think is a superb idea for an advertising campaign:
When I first saw the advert I loved it straight away, with Aleksandr’s voice similar to Borat and the way they’ve played with the words meerkat and market. Very clever. But the real surprise came when typed http://www.comparethemeerkat.com in my browser and a website which allows you to compare meerkats (size, hobbies and location – in a funny way of course) showed up.
Do you want to know more about Aleksandr?
Also, I’ve found quite funny the paid ad in google (from confused.com) when you look for the word meerkat:

www.confused.com – No meerkats, no gimmicks just great savings on car insurance
At least for me, imagination wins! If I need to compare car insurance (I don’t have one yet); Confused.com, GoCompare, MoneySupermarket and CompareTheMarket you can spend as much money as you want on TV advertising hat I’ll go to ask Aleksandr for sure
