This is going to be a useful post for everyone living in London as is very common to have mice/rats.

We had a small mice making himself at home in our previous property (not on this one yet), we actually didn’t kill him but someone with a lot of experience (he is running a pub close to the river) give us some clues about how to kill mice as he tried every trap/poison you can imagine and he only succeeded with two:

• Putting small glasses into the cheese so they eat it normally and then die when they digest it – cruel but effective
• Glue traps – disgusting as they don’t die and you have to kill them

You also should know that mice prefer peanut butter rather than cheese, if you are not American and don’t have peanut butter at home be careful using certain cheese brands as something like this can happen:
