The Best CGI Ever
Hi there,
I had a lovely Korean dinner (thanks Elle, Hamish and Sam) last Friday. Hamish is a master in 3D and After Effects and at the end of the night, (after few beers and shots, I have to say) he showed us what he thinks is the masterpiece of CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery): The Third and the Seventh . We actually loved it so I think you will too, check it out.
It’s pure architecture through the cinematographic lens. A full-CG animated piece that tries to illustrate art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces
Directed, modeling, textured, illumination and rendering by Alex Roman with a very low budget.

It’s a masterpiece. I discovered this video 3 weeks ago (then I posted it in facebook) and I was impressed. You have to be a bit patient because the best moments start after the 4 first minutes, but then is just awesome. Anyway, maybe it isn’t the kind of material that my fellow commentors with monkey brains can understand…
