Are Wednesdays the new Fridays?

Yesterday I enjoyed the East of London quite a lot and I thought would be good to share with you the different pubs/places I went, just in case you find yourself down there looking for some good places to go in the near future 😉

It all started when my friend Pablico called me while I was listening Honest Mistake by The Bravery… This was certainly a sign! We had our first pint at The Jerusalem Tavern, one of the oldest pubs in London (1720), it’s also a brewery so they do their own beer. Another in The Green (also a nice place to have food) and a third one in The Laughter and Lamb (I had Fish and Chips a couple of Fridays and it’s pretty good), in this one there were three bands playing live (downstairs- free entry) but as the weather was ok, we just had our drink outside.

Then we headed to the Pizza East, a trendy establishment situated in Shoreditch, music and environment was better than food and service but for £15 each, couldn’t complain… Another stop in the Hoxton Suqare Bar and Kitchen, by mistake we made it to a private party but was quite not our “style”… so we decided to have a couple of games of football table in the Kick Bar.

When we decided to go home, we passed by Murphis Karaoke and my friend decided to finish the night with a song, New York by Frank Sinatra, lucky they were closing…
