Ding Ding Dong Monday

22nd February 2010

It’s Monday, another week starts, weather is shit (as usual), I couldn’t sleep well, I have my glasses broken and there is no milk in the fridge for a proper breakfast. But let’s be positive, let’s do some work, listen to good music, get an umbrella and go to buy new glasses and milk. And in the meantime you can check this video out, it’s a Lipdub recorded by over 300 members of the School of Communication at the University of Navarra. I know they are not the first ones doing this and I also think is not as good as the UQAM one (even though there is a horse) but more than enough to cheer me up a bit.

Fridays… Are Not For You

12th February 2010

It’s Friday, f***ng cold and raining, but I am still happy because it’s by far my favourite day of the week.
As you know, I used to post a musical video every Friday, so here you are…

and if you didn’t like it, no worries, it’s because they are not for you! Check the next video out and you will understand what I am talking about…

I gotta feeling… today is going to be… blue monday!

25th January 2010

Thanks to my friend Jorge, I know that today is officially the most depressing day of the year 2010.

The formula takes into account six factors:

  • Weather conditions
  • Debt level and our ability to pay that debt
  • Time elapsed since Christmas
  • Time elapsed since failing our New Years resolutions
  • Our general seasonal motivational levels
  • Need to take action and to have something to look forward to (like statutory holidays)

Can I do anything to avoid it? No I can’t, I’m not feeling with the mood to even try it, so as I do every Monday I’m going to buy my lottery tickets online (it’s f**ing raining outside) and cook some special dish for lunch. On the meantime of course I’ll listen to good music, any suggestion?

Wolf Like Me

15th January 2010

No worries for the title, I’m not one of those great fans of Twilight/New Moon, too cheesy for me… it’s only the title of the song in the video below.
They are TV on the Radio and Huguaín introduced them (actually only this song 100 times) to me last Christmas.

You can listen more from them on TV on the Radio Myspace

Ah! It’s Friday, yahoooooooo!
