ElRyan’s Christmas Party in London

Hi guys,
if you live or are in London on Friday the 10th of December, there is a party you can’t miss. I’m organizing with El Ryan’s an epic night with two atmospheres, I will Dj (if you can’t call it like this) in one of them. The party is going to take place at The Mustard Bar, a venue close to St. Paul’s and will be on until late (5am). If you are interested in coming along, you can buy your tickets in this website: xmas.elryans.com.

Selfriday Control

While my friends start having plans such as “Thermomix Cooking Class” I still feel like dancing when Friday comes… Even though I don’t have big plans for the weekend, I’m sure we will come up with something “interesting”, there are always surprises out there.

Have a nice weekend guys!

Pavement – Back to the 90’s

Now is very common to see how bands that broke up years ago, reunite and reconvene for a tour.

Yesterday I went to the gig of one of the most influential indie rock bands of the ’90s, the California-based band Pavement!

Ah! And has been a very productive week, I’ve bought a few more tickets for 2010:

Cya!

Very Superstitious

Friday morning,

Yesterday, very late at night and on my way to an off-license in order to buy few beers and soya sauce, for what we call Thursday Late Free Sushi Night, there was a girl singing a cappella Superstition (Stevie Wonder) in the middle of the street, unfortunately I didn’t have my camcorder because her voice was pretty amazing (no, I was not drunk yet, she did it very well) and I’d have loved to post it here for you. This morning, the first came to my mind was this song and because is Friday and I know a bit of funky music is enough to cheer someone up, I want you to turn the speakers on, put the volume really high and play this song at least once… of course singing and dancing is completely allowed wherever you are 😉

When you believe in things
That you don’t understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain’t the way,
No, no, no!

Have a nice weekend and God Bless the Funk!

Water Colour Art

I’m definitely not an artist but I used to draw quite well when I was a child. I don’t know why I told that to my girlfriend few weeks ago, but I think she didn’t believe 🙂 me because the other day arrived home with a present, a Sketcher’s pocket box and water colour paper.

To be honest I had never painted with this technique before and will have to learn by myself as I don’t have time to go to a course. But I gave it a try anyway and I have to say that after almost 15 years without holding a pencil, I’m quite happy (but not proud at all) with the firsts results obtained.

First one: Frucomedia Tomato Logo – 55 min

Second one: Reservoir Dogs – 40 min

From now on, if you want to check how am I doing with more paints, I’m going to upload all the stuff I manage to do, at this new domain I’ve set up for mobile uploads: iphone.frucomerci.com

I hope this new-old-hobby keeps myself far from the computer for a few minutes every day.

Have a nice weekend
